There goes my white gold and diamond necklace.....

It was such a hectic day today for me. Woke up early and had my shower. Woke up the kids and their dad.....it's the visit to the dentist!

This round it was Shakiel's first ever visit to the dentist. His appointment will be right after my monthly braces maintainance check up. Last night I briefed him ( all logics) what does a dentist do and the procedures he will be going through. Shakiel was very hesitant and it made we upset that he had refuses (a couple times before)to meet the dentist.

Anyway before going into the car, he revised everything that I've told him last night and he sounded confident. I was happy. At the same time we decided to take both car to PJ where the Satria will be sent for servicing.

As usual we arrived late at the dentist and this time it was 20 minutes. After just waiting 5 minutes, I was called in. Shakiel tagged along behind and i gave him instruction not to touch any of the equipments but he is free to ask as many questions he wants, while waiting for the doctor.

He asked why the nurse wears gloves.
What are the wired equipment neatly arranged on the counter.
Why must he lay down on the seat when the doctor checks his teeth.
And so on.

After my check-up was done, it was Shakiel's turn. Surprisingly he behaved well and I explained to him what the doctor was doing as we go along the process. Couple of times he gave me a thumbs up and I know he was doing great. When all was done he thanked the doctor and he was very happy with his cleaned and polished sets of teeth. Doctor said his teeth are good and healthy. He was so excited showing off his teeth to his dad. Then we proceeded to Medan Selera at Section 14 for breakfast.

By 10:30 we had to rush back to Puchong. It's parent and teacher meeting day at the kid's Montessori. Again 10 minutes late, we met up with Shakira's teacher, Ida. She showed us Shakira's report card and I was almost drowned in tears with what I saw. Ma baby, Shakira, scored first in her class out of 20 students!

Then it hit me. I promised Shakira my white gold and diamond necklace should she get #1 in her class. She has been eyeing on the necklace ever since she saw me wearing it a few months ago. I thought she could never do it but she did it somehow. So, there goes my necklace......

So tonight before she went to bed, I put the necklace around her neck.....let she sleep in peace. She deserved to sleep like a princess.

Thank you GOD for giving me such precious children which I never regret bringing in this world. ALHAMDULLILLAH. AMIN.

I forgot !

On the morning of November 15 I woke up and went downstairs to open up the curtain shades and windows. Then suddenly I noticed a pink colored box sitting on the counter and took a closer look. Without my eye glasses I'm blind as a bat.

I noticed a card and read it...It was from my hubby and I thought of how sweet of him. Another gift mmmm. The other day was bouquet of flowers sent to my office and now another surprise? What has he done now?

As I read the card...I was very embarrassed to acknowledged that it was our anniversary. Yes. 10th year of marriage. And I totally forgot about it. How stupid I could be. Usually I'm not the kind who would forget special occasions but I am very surprised with what's happening to me.

I sat down for a while to ponder where did I go wrong? How could I forget this eventful day? I guess things happened when you are caught up in so many things that have been going around you and you tend to miss something.

What can I say, kutuk?

"We met 18 years ago. Married for 10. We have gone through the ups and downs, the lows and highs, thick and thin of this marriage. All the trial and turbulence made us stronger to sail through another 10 years, if GOD permits. Life is unfair sometimes but that was all planned to be. Not by us. We are put on this earth to carry out duty to mankind and to continue on with the cycle. If I were given a chance to change things, kutuk, I will change nothing!

I still remember,
The first time we met.
The first time how you lured me.
The first time we spoke for hours on the phone.
The first feeling of not wanting to you let go after our first date.
The first time being in a car which runs out of brake.
The first time you spent your paycheck to buy my groceries.
And so many first times.....endless.

To you, kutuk, I love you dearly and you know that. So sorry I forgot our anniversary.

WE love you kutuk. The kids adores you. Please never give up on us.

Happy Anniversary My Love. May GOD bless you and our family!"

INSYA ALLAH.

She's not coming back

Once in a while when everything was running well there will always be a bump. And in my case the bump is ma maid not comin' back.

We've waited almost a month after raya and there were still no news from Wati. We were contemplating whether we should or should not call her....I thought why should we call her? why must we be the one hadap sangat nak tunggu dia? But being weak, we human have that soft spot in all our hearts....took an effort to check out what was going on? IS she coming back? Because we need to move on with our lives.....So hubby called up her sister in law in Ipoh and her uncle in Indonesia. Both confirmed this.

Apparently she had. Had what? Well she had moved on with HER life. Dari nak balik dulu and nak mintak cerai dari husband dia rupanya dah ikut husband kerja ke Sumatra. Her husband kerja menggali lombong emas. And to top the sugar on the icing....no cherries please, she is 2-3 months pregnant. I'll be damned!!!!!

Well with that being said, we need to find a new maid.

Money, money, money
Always sunny
In a rich man's world.....

Yesterday our Indian colleague organized a 'Makan-Makan Deepavali'.

Everyone had a great time as you can see in the pictures here. Enjoy!

4 of them - Usha, Chelvi, Shoba and Shyamini spent arduous and painful time completing the above 'KOLUM' which nicely located right in front of our floor elevator. It was beautifully done and fantastic.

Colmar Tropicale

Last Saturday we headed up to Bukit Tinggi. It's been a while since we were there. Wonder what it is like today....

Seriously a day trip like that was quite expensive....exhausting and most importantly the kids had a blast. I had a few beautiful pictures but somehow I had problems downloading it from my mobile. (credit picture in this blog to ayah-Thanks Kutuk!)

We got there after paying an entrance fee about lunch after suffering the heavy traffic on MRR2. Fee was RM10 for adult and RM8 for children. We looked around and took pictures and dashed to the nearest restaurant since we were hungry. Lunch cost RM132 ( 2 pasta, chicken wings, fries, double scoop ice-cream, a coke and 3 ice lemon tea).

We decided to get air brush tattoos. Each tattoo cost RM15 and all came about to RM45. Shakiel has Batman logo on his hand, ayah got a frog on his arms and I got a sun on my ankle.

Then Shakira needs to answer her nature's call...got herself locked in the toilet, and she doesn't know how to open the lock!! My God I was panicking too. Obviously I had to control things and am sweating myself to calm her (as well as myself). Finally when she manage to force the lock opened, I was relief and things got back to normal.

Colmar was decorated with the Halloween theme. Pumpkins and 'ghosts' we everywhere. The kids saw huge lollipops which they wanted so badly and I got myself a fridge magnet. Total was RM29.00.

What next? What is there to do? We inquire some activities going around at the information center. We headed to the shuttle terminal and waited for the trip to Japanese Garden. The area was flooded by kids on school trips. Macam orang gila di buatnya. The hilly ride to the Japanese Garden were a breeze. We arrived and headed to the Botanical Gardens. Lots of fauna and flora. We did not get a chance to go to the Japanese Tea House when it started to drizzle. We caught the next shuttle back to Colmar and drove our self to the horses stable.

The horse ride was short. The ride cost RM25 but it increase as your weight gets heavier. Anything above 80kg cost extra. Total spent RM125.00. It was a surprised that Shakiel was not afraid and eager to get on to the horse.

Next we stopped at the rabbit farm and entrance cost RM3 each person. Yup, new policy. The entrance to Colmar does not include the rabbit farm trip. Lots of rabbit and kids started to chase in order to touch and squeezed the rabbits. I rasa rabbit tu pun panic.

Finally we left Colmar and headed to KLIA where we watched aeroplanes passed low above us to land at the KLIA Airport. It was fantastic.
